WTF at National Animal Rights Day Cambridge
About this event
🌱 WTF at National Animal Rights Day (NARD)
● A Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands.
● A Celebration of the progress that is being made towards ending the suffering of animals and bringing forth their freedom.
Welcome to NARD 16! 🐾
⏰ The event will start by gathering on Christ’s Pieces from 11:30am, to stand together to remember those animals who have lost their lives, with a minute’s silence and the reading and signing of the declaration.
☮️ We will then take part in a respectful and peaceful procession through the city, before returning to our starting point.
🎤 After this, our celebration will start, with speeches from activists and those involved with animal rights campaigning, plus live music and poetry.
