activism.wtf For organizers

A QR code generator in our own style

Most free QR generators stamp a watermark on your flyer or want an account before you can download anything.

There is now one at activism.wtf/qr. Paste a link, pick a style and a logo, download it. No account, no watermark, no limit on how many you make.

Three styles: plain black, We The Free, and Solidarity Day. You can drop the pig mark, the WTF badge or the Solidarity Day logo into the middle, or leave it clean.

MyStats For organizers

Collect event photos and videos with one link

The best footage from an event usually dies on someone's phone.

Every event now has its own upload link. Share it in the group chat and anyone who was there can add their photos and videos, no MyStats account needed. Everything lands in your team's media library on the team page, and the WTF media team reviews new submissions for wider use.

Improvements
  • Photos up to 15 MB, videos up to 500 MB.
  • Log in before uploading and your contributions are credited to your account.
  • Uploaders can flag media that might show someone under 18, so the WTF media team sees it first.

Call off an event without deleting it

Deleting an event told nobody. Anyone who had signed up found a dead link, or turned up to an empty street wondering whether they'd got the date wrong.

Cancelling is now its own action. Everyone still on the RSVP list gets an email in their own language, carrying your reason if you gave one, and the event stays visible and clearly marked as cancelled in MyStats, on its public page, and in any calendar that subscribed to it. You can call off a teammate's event too, which matters when the organizer is the reason it isn't happening. Cancelling cannot be undone, so you get a plain warning first. Deleting is still there for events nobody else has signed up to.

Fixes
  • The "event updated" email now arrives in your own language rather than your team's.
Organizer Panel For organizers

Request an advance right from the panel

Getting money up front is nothing new: if you needed to buy something for your team, you could always ask for it first instead of paying out of pocket. What's new is that it all happens here now.

Request an amount, say what it's for, and we'll either send it over or decline. You hear back either way.

Each of your teams shows a Ready to spend figure: what we've handed you, minus what you've already spent against it. Bought something with that money? Log the expense as Paid from advance and the balance ticks down. Nothing gets paid twice, and there's nothing to claim back.

MyChats

MyChats is open to everyone

MyChats has come out of invite-only. These are the live, one-to-one chats with people exploring veganism, and anyone can request access now.

  • Anyone can join. Request access and start taking chats.
  • Organizers are already in. If you organize an active team, access is automatic.
  • No sitting on a tab. Set yourself available for a few hours and get a push notification when someone wants to talk.

Weekly reminders for upcoming events

Everyone on a team now gets a weekly email listing its upcoming events. Each one has a one-click way to say you're coming, no login needed, so it's easy to show up without digging through chats or calendars. Prefer not to get them? Opt out from a preferences page anytime.

Reimbursements made easier, plus fundraising in detail

Getting to your team's reimbursements used to be fiddly. If you weren't already signed in to MyStats, you'd get stranded and start over. That's fixed. And there's more fundraising detail now too.

Reimbursements

  • "Log in with MyStats" works end to end now. It drops you straight into Get Involved, on the exact expense a notification email pointed you to.
  • Your history is in one place. We pulled in the older reimbursements that used to live in spreadsheets, so past and present sit together.
  • A rough spendable balance. Each team now shows an estimate of what it has left to spend.

Fundraising

  • Your team's fundraising breaks down further now, into individual transactions and any recurring donations, so you can watch what comes in over time instead of staring at one total.
Fixes
  • Cancelling the login no longer dumps you on an error page.
  • The "no organizer access" message now tells you why, in English and Spanish.

3MMC Player For organizers

Show The 3 Minutes film offline at street events

The 3MMC Player is a new app for showing The 3 Minutes at street events. It lives at street.3minutes.wtf. Nothing to install, no sign-up.

Before an event you open it, pick your team, and download the versions you want. After that it runs fully offline. A visitor picks their language and age group, taps play, and the film runs even with no signal.

  • 19 languages, so people watch in their own
  • Three cuts by age: Adult, 13 to 17, and Under 13. The adult cut is in all 19 languages; the younger two aren't everywhere yet.
  • Offline once downloaded, built for the pavement

Every play is counted and synced back to MyStats the moment you reconnect, so your team sees who it reached: people reached, total views, how many devices were running, and a split by cut and language. It runs in any browser, so laptops, tablets, and phones all work.

Organizer Panel For organizers

Your new Organizer Panel

The Organizer Panel is where the practical side of running a team lives. MyStats is still home for your activism: your codes, card shares, and outreach impact. The panel is the other half, the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a team going.

Two things to start:

  • Reimbursements. When your team spends on prizes, equipment, signage, or cards, file a request, add the receipts, and follow it right through to getting paid back. No more chasing anyone, and you can always see where a request stands.
  • Donations. See what your team has raised this campaign year, and what that grows to once matching is applied.

The link is inside MyStats, and as long as you're logged in it opens straight through, no second login. More of the day-to-day will move here over time.

MyStats For organizers

Promote your events from a dedicated page

Every event now has its own promote page in MyStats. It shows your share image with the landing path and RSVP options, hands you direct sharing tools, and shows where your public event link stands in review, with a toast the moment it goes live.

Improvements
  • MyStats opens with an animated loading screen instead of a blank flash.
  • When a new version is ready, a small toast lets you know instead of updating silently.
Fixes
  • Announcement links open correctly again, fixing a regression from earlier in the month.
