Training

Sharpen your skills and inspire action with our valuable resources. Together, let's build a world free of animal exploitation.

We at We The Free believe in constantly improving our animal advocacy skills. One way we do this is by offering comprehensive training sessions for our volunteers.

Let's face it, advocating for animals can be tough. We've all heard the "plants feel pain" or "lions eat zebras" lines used to dismiss the reality of animal suffering. But what if instead of getting bogged down in arguments, we focused on helping people connect with their own values and take action towards a world free of animal exploitation?

We The Free offers a wealth of resources, constantly updated, to empower you in this journey. Everything below is free.

Effective animal advocacy

Inspiring behaviour change

Passionate about advocating for animals but find yourself caught in unproductive debates or facing defensiveness? This free interactive training workshop, held twice a month on Zoom, is designed to equip you with the tools to navigate these situations with confidence and compassion.

We'll delve into the art of de-escalating conversations, building bridges, and guiding individuals towards aligning their actions with their values. Through powerful questioning techniques, you'll gain the ability to spark critical thinking and encourage positive change.

A complete game changer for my outreach conversations. I used to head into events geared up for a confrontation, but now I feel much more relaxed and I have more effective conversations.
